My mobile is a Nokia E71, I was one of the firsts buyer of this phone. It is not so bad, it has some troble to get network (as every Nokia I had) but it works “not bad”.
With my work I have to receive email 24/7 so I called Vodafone Italia and I took the fabulous “Vodafone Mail” (aka mail push). I had to install a small client “Vodafone Mail” in order to use the service. Every version of this software had some problems (from when I enabled the service I think I updated it 7 or 8 times).
Yesterday I had a new powerfull update available to download (yes I’m ironic), I updated and everything was broken. The phone cannot connect to Vodafone Mail, I tryed to uninstall and re-install, re-update, I tryed everything but nothing worked.
I’m really tired to this situation, I have to update the software because every version has many bugs, but the update process NEVER goes smoothly!!!
So if you need email and you have Vodafone (I don’t know if this is just a problem for Italy or if every Vodafone in the world uses this shit of software) DON’T CHOOSE Vodafone Mail. Take a Blackberry or iPhone or some Android phone!
