Ubuntu 10.04 look and feel
I’m a mac user, I use mac everyday for many hours .. but when I installed latest Ubuntu (10.04) I said ‘wow!’.
The look and feel is really gorgeous!
It’s better than osx in my opinion :)
I would switch but .. I haven’t still found a good editor in Linux :(

Boot VMWare Fusion from CD
On my mac I have VMWare Fusion installed with two virtual machines, one windows xp and one linux xubuntu.
I would like to boot xubuntu VM from an ISO but the bios splash screen is really fast on VMWare :)
So I found this trick to force the VM to enter in BIOS configuration.
Go to the VM file, show package content, edit the file .vmx adding this line:
bios.forceSetupOnce = “TRUE”

“I hate when I install a gem and it has dependencies that I have not!”
– It’s really stupid! Why install a ruby gem if I can’t use it because you used others gems and you didn’t specify dependencies?!? I have to look at the code! It’s really stupid!

I really like this tool! It’s useful and confortable, I’m a bit afraid of ‘google dependence’ .. but they offer really useful tools and there aren’t alternatives (or they are worst)
